Is holistic osteopathy for me?
Osteopathy can help alleviate pain, aches, and discomfort while supporting a deeper connection with your body. Pain is often experienced as both a physical sensation and an emotional response, designed to protect us.
If you’re seeking greater self-awareness, Aude offers a mind-body recentering process through longer-term care. Together, we’ll explore creative, sensory ways to engage with your body’s subtle cues and unravel the patterns behind its pain and function.
Aude provides an inclusive, non-binary space grounded in listening, shared decision-making, and open exchange. Whatever your background or story, you are welcome here.
Osteopathy is a complementary, evidence-informed practice that works alongside allopathic medicine to support your body’s natural physiology to recover towards thriving. Aude helps you identify and understand patterns that trigger pain or hold you back, guiding you to reconnect with your body’s inherent wisdom for a more balanced and fulfilling life.

What should I expect for the first session?
During a session with her, you can expect a blend of attentive listening, hands-on care, and collaborative problem-solving.
You will start with a chat about your health history and current concerns, followed by a few questions about how your body’s systems—like digestion, hormones, and circulation—are working for you.
After some tests, Aude listens to your body by placing her hands in various places and tailor your treatment in the moment. The latter is guided by your life story, what you and her feel from the body’s reflex patterns responses.
Aude uses a variety of techniques, including joints and muscle release, fascia therapy, drainage, cranio-sacral work, and biodynamic principles, always aiming to create balance and ease in the body to heal.
Before you wrap up, you will both take time to integrate what has been experienced, discuss follow-up options, and explore ways for you to stay empowered in your health with exercises or long-term plans. It’s all about working together to help your body find its natural flow.
Sessions typically last between 30 minutes and 1 hour.
What is the difference with physiotherapy, chiropractic treatments or massage?
Physiotherapy often focuses on exercises and strengthening to manage symptoms and improve function. It aims to recover injuries in the muscles or the soft tissues.Your GP usually refers you when your presenting complain is muscles and joint pain, or history of injuries.
Chiropractic relies on a well-placed crack to trigger your joints’ natural anti-inflammatory response—sometimes helpful, but not always a lasting fix. To aim similar principles, I investigate the ‘whys’, delving into the underlying fluidic dynamics and neurological mechanics and causes of your pain to treat it.
Massage improves soft tissue flexibility, reduces muscle tension. It also stimulates the lymphatic system, aiding in detoxification and boosting immune function while nourishing the skin. However, if pain persists, it’s wise to consult an osteopath to address the root cause and restore proper body mechanics.

What should I wear?
Feel free to wear whatever you’re comfortable in. The goal is to wear clothing that allows you to move freely during the session.
